United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) (Internal / External Vacancy announcement No. WFP/IND/FT/2010/08). WFP requires Programme officer (Level NO- B) vacancy is open to applicants of either sex. Preference will be given to equally qualified women candidates. The vacancy recruitment is fixed Term Appointment for one year duration.

1. Programme Officer

Duty Station : New Delhi, India

Qualification : Advanced university degree in economics, business administration, social sciences, agricultural economics, or a field relevant to development assistance.

Experience : At least three years of postgraduate, progressively responsible professional experience in a relevant field, including facilitation, moderating discussions and trainings. Experience in the usage of MS Office and knowledge of Lotus notes is desirable.

2. Programme Officer (Food Technology)

Duty Station : New Delhi, India Head, Health and Nutrition Unit

Qualification : Advanced university degree in Food Technology/ Nutritional sciences or related disciplines, with knowledge in areas, such as, food technology, microbiology, chemistry, nutrition, international guidelines, biology, supply chain, etc.

Experience : At least one year of postgraduate professional experience in product development, quality control and machinery management.Experience in the usage of MS office.
