Educational Qualifications : B.E/ B.Tech. (or equivalent) in Mechanical/ Marine/ Automotive/ Mechtronics/ Industrial & Production/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Conrol/ Electrical/ Elecronics/ tele-Communication/ Instrumentation/ Insrumentation and Control/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Elecronics and Communication/ Power Engineering/ Control System Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Computer Science Engg. from a institution recognised by AICTE with minimum 60% marks

Age : Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1986 to 01 January 1992; both dates inclusive) for Technical (GS) and Submarine Cadre (Engineering & Electrical), and 21 to 25 years for Naval Architecture Cadre i.e 02 July 1986 to 01 July 1990



Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 157 cms, 152 cms for Female with correlated weight. Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision, 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
