Indira Gandhi National Open University:Various posts for North East residents

Application are invited in the prescribed form from Indian citizens domiciles/residents in North East Region for filling up the following positions:

1. Section Officer: 08 posts

Qualification:

• Master’s Degree of a recognized University and 5 Years experience in recruitment/establishment/purchase of stores/registration and evaluation/finance and accounts/general administration in University/Govt./Autonomous Organization/Public or Private Sector Undertaking. Or

• A Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with at least second class with 8 years experience in recruitment/establishment/purchase of stores/registration and evaluation/finance and accounts/general administration in University/Govt/ Autonomous Organization/Public or Private Sector Undertaking. Or

• A Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with at least second class and a pass of final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or a pass in SAS examination conducted by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India or equivalent thereof with 3 years experience in general administration/finance and accounts in University/Govt./Autonomous Organization/Public or Private Sector Undertaking.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4800



2. Personal Assistant: 16 posts

Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with a minimum speed of 100 wpm in Shorthand and 40 wpm in type-writing on Computer and three years experience as Stenographer/PA in University/Govt/Autonomous Organisation/Public or Private Sector Undertaking.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-



3. Data Entry Operators: 13 posts

Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University and Diploma/Certificate in computer application/programming and speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.

4. Semi Professional Assistant: 04 posts

Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University OR its equivalent with a certificate in Library Science. Or

Matric/Higher Secondary with three years experience in a Library.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800



5. Assistant: 09 posts

Qualification: A bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University with 3 years experience in secretarial/administrative work in University/Govt/Autonomous Organisation/Public or Private Sector Undertaking.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400



6. Stenographers: 02 posts

Qualification: Matriculation OR its equivalent with 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on computers with two years experience as Steno- Typist/Stenographer in University/Govt/Autonomous Organization/Public OR Private Sector Undertaking.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2400



7. Junior Assistant-cum-Typist: 19 posts

Qualification: Matriculation OR its equivalent with two years experience in a clerical post in a Govt/Semi-Govt/Public Sector Undertaking/Reputed Private Company with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English on computers. The typing speed in respect of any of the National Language will be as prescribed by the Central Govt/State Govt.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 1900
