Medical Council of India(MCI) Recruitment of Stenographers and Computer Operators 2011

Medical Council of India(MCI) invites applications for the following posts:



1. Lower Division Clerk: 4 posts(2 Gen, 1 SC, 1 ST)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band–1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.1900 & other allowances as admissible.

Qualification:12th or equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Typing Speed of 30 w.p.m. in English.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years.



2. Stenographer Grade-II: 3 posts(2 Gen, 1 SC)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band–2 Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200 &other allowances as admissible.

Qualification: A Degree from recognized University.

100 w.p.m. speed in Stenography and 40 w.p.m. speed in typing in English language.

Age Limit: Between 25 to 35 years.



3. Stenographer Grade-III: 3 posts(1Gen, 1 OBC, 1 SC)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band–1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400 & other allowances as admissible.

Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent. A Speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand (English) and a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. in English Typing.

Age limit: Between 18 to 27 years.



4. Computer Operator: 2 posts(1 Gen, 1 OBC)

Scale of Pay: Pay Band–1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs.2400 & other allowances as admissible.

Qualifications: A degree from a recognised University or equivalent qualification and a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.

Age Limit :18 to 27 years.
